Within this framework, the changes we are witnessing in terms of mobility constitute a great opportunity to make Vitoria-Gasteiz the great logistics node in the north of the peninsula, which represents a great opportunity to boost the economy.
Market
The activity of the Department of Mobility and Public Space focuses on the development of infrastructures; the empowerment of the city as an international airport and as a logistics node; and the arrival of the High Speed Train. Internally, Vitoria-Gasteiz is committed to improving mobility from a sustainability perspective, with actions such as the development of the EIB project, the expansion of the tram network, the improvement of pedestrian safety and the promotion of mobility to foot.
