MITHOS

The MITHOS project aims to transform the management of multimodal transport through an innovative platform powered by artificial intelligence. Multimodal transport, which combines different modes of transport for both passengers and goods, is essential for achieving safer, more sustainable, and more efficient mobility. However, the sector currently faces major challenges such as poor interconnection between systems, high operational costs, and fragmented data management.

To address these issues, MITHOS will develop a comprehensive cloud-based platform that integrates multiple data sources into a unified and intelligent system. This platform will enable real-time data collection and analysis, and offer advanced decision-support tools with interactive visualizations. It will also include specific modules for simulating and evaluating infrastructure, as well as assessing the impact of proposed measures.

The project will be validated in four pilot cities (Bilbao, Hamburg, Vienna/Linz, and Thessaloniki) to demonstrate its effectiveness in various contexts.
